2-Day Tour: Winter Highland Aurora Borealis – Northern Lights Tour

Things you will see and do:
The tour allows you to experience nature in 4×4 super jeeps or 4×4 super trucks. Þingvellir national park, waterfalls, Gullfoss, geothermal springs, Geysir, short hiking trips. The tour gives you the opportunity to experienec some of the best places to view the northern lights in Iceland. Be prepared to “live for the moment.”
1st day
The tour takes us to the national park of Þingvellir, then to the magnificent waterfal Gullfoss and the spouting spring area around Geysir, and from there to a mountain hut up in the highlands, driving on snow during high winter. There we´ll stay overnight, having a good three-course dinner and hopefully we will see the northern lights later in the evening.
please note: the tour can be adjusted to your needs, it is also possible to arrange overnight stays in hotels or guesthouses, for extra cost.
2nd day
We start the day with a good refreshing breakfast and then prepare lunch to take with us on our drive to Reykjavík. On our way we will explore the track back to the city and find interesting photo stops, arriving in the city in the late afternoon.
If weather permits and the location is right, we might get the opportunity to have a bath in a warm spring under the northern lights.
Please note that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings, therefore, cannot be guaranteed even though the tour is operated. 
Things to take along on a trip like this would be:
Good hiking shoes, camera, bathing suit, towels, warm outdoor clothing, waterproof jacket and pants. Remember that Icelandic weather can change suddenly without prior warning.
